[ into a quiet voided area they go! xie lian is leading someone to come meet with the other two! he opens the door to whatever room they are in and holds it for the newcomer!!! ]
There is one more that Flat knows of besides Mr. Nero, but I haven't cleared with the Watchers if it is alright for them to speak with me, quite yet. But here you are! Welcome!
[Yeah, Nero totally bounced that last meeting, but he also comes back the day after. It's been a few hours since execution and now he's asking them to reconvene.]
The answer to why did these worlds call angels liars was: serpent (twice), globe, helmet, sword (four times), walled garden (three times), anchor (four times).
So that's snake - related to evil twice, globe-politics, helmet-conflict or war, sword - justice or somethin' related to it, walled garden-nature or somethin' related, anchor - hope.
The number of times a symbol is repeated is the number of meanings it could have.
My guesses are... the angels were eventually thought of as evil, they offered aid in politics and other disagreements, some kinda divide judgement, maybe a nature crises? And they offered some sort of hope?
I mean… it sounds to me like it should be read the other way around. The angels were seen as a sign of hope and prosperity, but then the opposite happened.
[ he scratches his cheek. ]
That would make more sense with… everything else we’ve found. And speaking about that, Mister Joonghyuk told me that the Dust is proof of the “original sin” on Friday.
[ that is so many. if xie lian is bothered at all he doesn't mind - in fact, he greets nero with a warm smile when he comes and then gets right to work on decoding. ]
Evil, evil, politics... conflict,...
[ okay, okay okay. he puts his hand on his chin. ]
...I think each side thought of each other as evil. Based on what I was told by one of the groups who went off on an adventure on Thursday. But, the two sides got involved with war and perhaps caused a conflict in these worlds... Each side tried to bring justice upon the other and...
[ ????????? ] Perhaps it could have to do with the number of worlds we have visited? We have been to four. Perhaps... three of them had separate natural disasters as a consequence of the Angels passing their judgement? And four thought the Angels would be able to save them from it instead of cause it?
Was the conflict already there? Or did they get involved and then start the conflict?
If we read it the other way like Flat suggested... The angels arrived to bring hope to a struggling world (maybe that's the garden symbol?), they offered justice in the war the world was havin' and an offer to change the politics, but the angels lied to them?
[ also me: falls asleep as soon as mira tags me im gomen ]
That does make sense, too. I think... maybe the conflict was already there? I'm not sure. From what Miss Alisaie said, they saw two beings fighting each other in a garden, that were angels of some sort.
Don’t we have some evidence the angels might be something else? I mean. This is a huge reach now, but… didn’t those recent adventures have people find angels that had been locked up?
w3, saturday
This way.

Still gotta figure out what that information means.
Might end up havin' to find a different "Reader".

I'm not surprised - Mr. Sholmes has a job very similar to mine, from what he said. [ he just leans a little harder into nero, as steady as possible. ]
