From what I've gotten so far the places we've ended up in were "To shed light on the war crimes of disobedience" more or less. So maybe all these worlds we've ended up on are to show us what happens if we don't listen to them.
When I asked about what this conflict was about I got apple, serpent, tree. Suriel thinks that means that means both sides think the other is the root of all evil. But considerin' everything we've been findin' I dunno if that's right.

But I think that the whole sides thing is also part of the lie… I mean, we never really see, like, people talking about Celestials vs Temporals, right? They’re all just “angels” to them.
